The 130L Max Plus board is designed to offer stability and ease of use for beginners, making it perfect for new riders. Its large size helps riders get up and start flying quickly, even for novices. With an optional scooter kit, the Max Plus can be transformed into a scooter for even more stability.

How long does the battery last, and what is the recharge cycle?
The standard battery pack (EVO Lite) provides up to 100 minutes of continuous flight duration depending on rider weight and style. The high-capacity Plus battery (EVO Pro Plus / Max Plus / Master Plus) extends runtimes up to 120 minutes of dynamic carving. Standard recharge cycles take approximately 60-90 minutes with our smart fast-charger using standard 110V/220V outlets.
EPP vs Military Kevlar boards – which one is right for me?
EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) is virtually indestructible, absorbs impacts, and is completely ding-proof, making it highly recommended for beginners, schools, dynamic launching points, and shared family cruising. Authentic military-grade Kevlar composite is built for professional racers and carve enthusiasts; it delivers maximum rigidity, zero-flex response, and ultra-lightweight physics that translate rider inputs to the mast with absolute fidelity.
Is the Flyer EVO system completely modular? Can I upgrade parts later?
Yes, 100%! The Waydoo Flyer EVO series is engineered with a unified modular mount. Every board profile, wing configuration, mast length, and stabilizer shape is interchangeable. As your skills advance over time, you can swap to longer aerospace masts, larger/smaller wings, or high-rigidity carbon/Kevlar components without ever buying a new board unit.
Does my Flyer EVO package include the smart flight and GPS features?
Smart flight assistance, GPS tracking, balance sensors, and active geo-fencing are exclusive to the "Plus" series packages (Pro Plus, Max Plus, and Master Plus). These units feature an integrated flight controller inside the board linked with Waydoo's smart flight software to protect riders and track dynamic stats via our smartphone app.
What should I do if my remote throttle trigger fails to initialize or shows an error on startup?
On startup, the remote performs an automatic calibration to establish the 'zero throttle' position. If you are holding the remote trigger down while powering it on, it will fail to initialize or restrict your speed range. To resolve this, simply release the trigger and restart the remote, or long-press the '+' button to enter the trigger throttle calibration menu to reset your trigger range.
How do I safely power on the eFoil, and what is the mandatory battery lock protocol?
To power on, hover your magnetic wrist-strap key close to the battery power button (within 1cm) for 3 seconds. Before launching, you must turn the two rotary locks 90° clockwise to secure the battery. Running the board unlocked seeps seawater into the plug well, causing galvanic corrosion and severe plug burns which void the warranty.
